Current Events Help A Safe Place

The following events are underway or scheduled soon that will provide support for the programs of A Safe Place:

July and August 2003

An area sale of Mary Kay cosmetic products throughout July and August will benefit the comprehensive services offered to domestic violence victims by A Safe Place/ Lake County Crisis Center. Supporting the Mary Kay mission “To Enrich Women’s Lives” by empowering women, independent sales directors Allison Kommel of Deerfield and Mary Risse of Lincoln Park, along with other sales consultants, are donating 25% of all sales during the two months toward the shelter, counseling and advocacy programs of the agency, and toward the agency’s newest initiative, the development of a transitional living program.

For more information on the Mary Kay fundraiser, email akommel@marykary.com or mrisse@marykay.com or phone 847.840.6529 for Kommel and 773.456.9141 for Risse.
