Friends of A Safe Place cordially invites you and your friends to their annual Spring Celebration of Women to be held on Thursday, May 8, at the Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, Il. In addition to a wonderful luncheon with Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan as honorary chairperson and special keynote address by Dr. Ann Goetting (Professor of Sociology at Western Kentucky University and author of Getting Out: Life Stories of Women Who Left Abusive Men), the Friends have arranged a very special “World Market” event in conjunction with this year’s luncheon and raffle which support the programs of A Safe Place.

Both luncheon attendees and the general public are invited to browse and select unique, one of a kind gifts from the diverse offerings of the following “World Market” dealers:

World Market shopping begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. Shoppers who are not attending the luncheon pay a $10 admission at the door. No pre-registration is required to shop World Market.

Registration for A Spring Celebration of Women can be made by sending with your name, address and phone, plus your check (made payable to FOASP) or money order to Friends of A Safe Place, P.O. Spring Celebration Sponsorships and Raffle Information

Join Friends of A Safe Place in supporting the programs of A Safe Place through sponsorships available at several levels for A Spring Celebration of Women on May 8, 2003. Those interested in sponsorships should contact Molly Browe at 847-948-0707.

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 each or 5 for $40. Winner need not be present to win. Drawing will be held and announced at the luncheon on May 8 at The Knollwood Club.
