Molly Maid Makes A Difference for A Safe Place

Molly Maid of Grayslake is participating in the Molly Maid and Ms. Molly Foundation 8th annual Making A Difference Drive, part of a nationwide effort to support victims of domestic violence during October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The area business which serves about 400 clients will be providing information about the pervasiveness of partner abuse and will be asking the support of residents in making tax-deductible donations that will benefit A Safe Place/ Lake County Crisis Center.  A Safe Place provides comprehensive crisis line, shelter, counseling, case management and court advocacy services to residents of Lake, eastern McHenry and northern Cook County residents. In the 2004 fiscal  year, A Safe Place provided services to nearly 2,500 survivors of domestic violence.
