Spring Celebration of Women Set for May 6, 2004Friends of A Safe Place, the fund raising auxiliary of A Safe Place/ Lake County Crisis Center, is hosting their annual A Spring Celebration of Women on Thursday, May 6, 2004 in Highland Park. Highlights of the event include a keynote address by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and an opportunity to select beautiful and unique gifts just in time for Mother’s Day at their World Market boutique. World Market shopping begins at Exmoor at 10 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. Luncheon attendees will also enjoy informal modeling featuring the latest spring and summer fashions courtesy of the Lake Forest Shop. A select array of special raffle packages is also available with raffle tickets priced at $10 each, three for $25 and eight for $50. Winners need not be present to win. Drawings will be held and announced during the luncheon.
