A Special Day for A Safe Place's "Backbone"

A Safe Place  is honoring donors during the Purple Ribbon Circle Event on May 20, 2008 at Miramar Bistro & Banquets in Highwood .  Purple is the color representing domestic violence awareness.  The event is for donors who commit to giving $1,000 or more annually .  “These donors are the backbone of A Safe Place.  Their generosity has allowed us to continue providing vital programs for victims of domestic violence and their children,” says Phyllis A. DeMott, Executive Director of A Safe Place.
