CLC Women's Center hosting The Yellow Dress to benefit A Safe Place

A Safe Place and the Women's Center at the College of Lake County present a performance of The Yellow Dress on Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in C005 at CLC.  The Yellow Dress is a dramatic one-woman play based on the stories of young women who were victims of dating violence. The carefully constructed program stimulates thought-provoking discussion about relationships—a topic important to everyone. Audiences are clearly moved by the story of a young woman who warmly tells us of her relationships—that begins as young love, full of passion and promise, and ends in tragedy. Discussion with actress will follow performance.

Tickets are available at the Women’s Center, Room B212-B213 in CLC, and at the door for a suggested donation of $5. Seating is limited. All money raised for this event will go to A Safe Place.  For more information, visit http://www.clcillinois.edu/community/womenscenter.asp
