A Safe Place to Benefit from Art Auction
Staged by Hawthorn Woods Women’s Club

The annual Art Exhibition & Auction of the Hawthorn Woods Women’s Club outlines an evening of entertainment, culture and extraordinary values.

Scheduled for March 6 in the Hawthorn Woods’ Village Barn, proceeds from the event will benefit several Lake County social service agencies including A Safe Place/Lake County Crisis Center.

Regency Fine Art, an Atlanta-based gallery, will offer a collection of certified custom-framed art from a variety of regional, national and international artists.

Selections will include lithographs, oil paintings, fine art prints, serigraphs, etchings, watercolors, engravings, sports memorabilia, and sculptures, including life-size lost wax bronzes and other collectible objects.

The event will offer items to suit everyone’s taste and price range, with prices ranging from $45 to several thousand dollars.

Admission to the auction is $7 per person in advance and $10 at the door. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and petit fours will be provided by Le Titi de Paris Restaurant of Arlington Heights. There will be hourly door prizes as well.

A preview of the fine art will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the auction commencing at 7:30 p.m.

The Village Barn of Hawthorn Woods is located at 2 Lagoon Drive, Hawthorn Woods. A Next Day Sale will be held Sunday, March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
