Sales of Mary Kay Products to Benefit A Safe Place

Led by independent sales directors Allison Kommel and Mary Risse, the sale of Mary Kay cosmetic products throughout the remainder of August, September, and October will benefit the comprehensive services offered to domestic violence victims by A Safe Place/ Lake County Crisis Center.

In support of the Mary Kay mission “To Enrich Women’s Lives” by empowering women, the two Mary Kay consultants made the decision to donate 25 percent of total sales through this period. Customers may phone orders in or may shop online or email Kommel and Risse.   The two have sponsored several open houses over the summer to introduce the project to other sales consultants in the hope that they will also participate in the effort.

“There are many reasons that each of us began our Mary Kay business,” said Kommel, “ but one that we strongly shared was to use our business as a vehicle to help women and children in need.”

Kommel may be reached at (847) 840MKAY, by email at akommel@marykay.com; or through the website at http://www.marykary.com/akommel . Risse is available at (773) 456.9141, by email at mrisse@marykay.com , or through the website at http://www.marykay.com/mrisse .
