All exterior bricwork is now completed.  With insulation installed, siding will come next. 

 

Donations for clients of A Safe Place will be taken into storage areas through a south entry to the building.

A new retaining wall is b eing constructed at the southern end of the building.

 

The front entryway frames the busy activities of construction workers.

Inside, it isn't uncommon to see workers' tasks facilitated through the use of stilts.

 

Staff and residents can utilize either a central elevator or stairways to residential areas.

Residents living in rear apartments will look out over heavily wooded acreage to the west.

 

Construction supplies now fill what will eventually become a modern, well-equipped training room, ideally suited for both life and job skills classes and for community education and collaboration.
