Train Children to Call 911

All children should know how to use 911 in case of an emergency.

The child will be asked to provide additional information such as:

  • the name of the abuser
  • description of the abuser
  • what activity is taking place at the time of the call

Even though the child may be extremely upset, the dispatchers are skilled at accessing the information that will be helpful to the officers at the scene.
