Volunteer Application

A Safe Place provides shelter, court advocacy, referrals and comprehensive counseling programs for victims of domestic violence - women and children who have been physically, verbally, or emotionally abused.

To apply to our volunteer program, please download the application (in PDF format), and DCFS Background check form (in PDF format), and return it to the Volunteer Specialist along with three letters of personal referencevia fax or mail. Our next 40-hour training will take place weekdays starting June 14, 2010. Volunteers are an important part of A Safe Place.
